Every Tuesday a barrage of new records are released. Wouldn’t it be handy to have a curator decide which ones rule and which ones drool? The Decider, Reckless Records and WHPK have teamed up with Empty Bottle Presents and Sonotheque to launch a new weekly Monday party to do just that. Hand-picked by music pros who spend all day listening to new tunes, The Weekly Leak will preview the most exciting upcoming records in their entirety the day before they are unleashed on the rest of the world. Each Monday night from 9pm on, your arbiters of taste will offer free exclusive listening, ticket and swag giveaways from selected bands and the chance to purchase the releases before the rest of Chicago. We’re keeping an eye on all the upcoming release schedules and have some truly exciting new music to share, so if you want to spend the night partying to new tunes before everyone else, Sonotheque is the place.
