Lee Foss:
Since childhood Lee has been drawn to music with a soulful feel and a distinct uptempo rythm. It was a late 80's/early 90's fascination with new jack swing, hip hop, and R+B that peaked his interest in music and gave him an ear for the soulful that still exists today in his house production and track selection. A long time music collector and part time dj, his interests spread to soul, disco, house and funk. After spending the better part of 3 years in Ibiza Spain, Lee had the opportunity to DJ as far afield as Germany the UK and around Ibiza, and came away with a distinctly electronic take on soulful music. Since returning to Chicago in 2004 Lee has rapidly become one of Chicago's busiest, and most forward thinking djs, and plays a distinct mix of soulful techno, 80's funk/boogie, electro/tech/deep house, and minimal funk. Due to his eleclectic styles, he is most promoters and venues choice to open up for the truly cutting edge and distinct artists. He has played alongside luminaries such as Norman Jay MBE, Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area), Dixon (Sonar Kollective), Halo, Diz, Lee Burridge, Miles Maeda, Mazi, Traxx, Dan Berkson, Lusine, Jamie Jones, Chris Liebing, Johnny Fiasco, The Crystal Method, and Alexi Delano just to name a few.In addition to several residencies around town, he is consistently booked at major clubs like Smartbar, Zentra, Soundbar, Vision, Green Dolphin Street, Four, Redno5, Wet, The Works (Detroit), as well as cutting edge music based lounges like Sonotheque, Darkroom, Tini Martini, and Bungalow. Not one to shy away from cutting edge corporate events, Lee has taken on gigs for major clients like Moet/Hennesey, The Shedd Aquarium, and RJ Reynolds.Spring 2006 sees the launch of Discrete Music as a brand/promotion group/label. With a series of loft/warehouse parties and a series of disco based club nights, the future looks bright for the collective and for Lee.You should definitely expect rare 80's missing link disco, shades of Detroit and Chicago roots, and enough electronic funk to shake a stick at!

Spencer Lokken:
A beat nut since the very beginning, Spencer would be lost without the guidance of sound. A classically trained violinist since three, after schooling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison he put off professional performance for a nine to five position in the music biz while maintaining a consistent string of DJ gigs around the Midwest. Along with locals Ben Silver and Bethany Briscoe, Spencer formed the Orchard Lounge, a DJ collective of friends and music lovers devoted to exposing the masses to a wide array of headnodic jams. Music designed to be bumped anywhere from the dance floor to the couch, the three specialize in downtempo and your off the beaten path house, but keep things fresh by incorporating classic hip hop, electro, and funk into their sets. Never one to take things too seriously, the decade of party rocking experience has enabled Lokken to thoroughly understand his duty as a DJ.
