DEXCORE’s “20” music video mixes synth and rock in a rooftop performance

DEXCORE has uploaded the music video for their song “20”, leading to the release of their first mini album “-18-“. “-18-” was released on December 22.

A cool synth riff introduces the track “20”. Next, the group begins their passionate performance on the rooftop overlooking a nighttime cityscape. This rich electronic melody creates a serene atmosphere, carrying the song through verses and bridge.

These serene moments allow the kai bassist to fully take center stage. In contrast, guitarist Yumeto’s guitar work is calm but vital to the song’s progression and structure.

The song “20” demonstrates that DEXCORE is more than their breakdowns, creating beautiful and piercing melodies.

During the more glitchy sections of the song, we catch a glimpse of a moving red and black eyeball. This eyeball is reminiscent of the jacket art for the Regular and “EXTRA” editions of “-18-“, seen below.

DEXCORE has also confirmed that its three hard-hitting singles released in 2021 will make a comeback alongside more recent songs in the “-18-” mini-album. While the regular edition is only a CD, the “EXTRA-” edition also includes a DVD with four music videos and a making-of. So far, DEXCORE has confirmed that the music video for “20” and its making-of will be included on the DVD.

The group uploaded snippets of each song to entice fans with what to expect.
