“Bad For Me” is a moving ballad in which Trainor talks about letting go of someone she loves, acknowledging that their relationship isn’t good for her. She and Teddy Swims combine their vocals beautifully throughout the song.

“Please don’t make promises you can’t keep,” the duo sings in the chorus. “Your best intentions end up hurting me / No matter what, I’ll love you endlessly / I know we’re blood, but this love is bad for me.”

The magical video finds the singers surrounded by royal columns, flowers and butterflies. Trainor wears a few different dresses, including a turquoise dress, a sheer white dress decorated with flowers, and a shorter pink style. The looks are accentuated with bright eye makeup.
