Migos’ ‘Culture’ album briefly disappears from streaming services

UPDATED 01/27, 10:42 AM ET: migosCulture The album is available again on Apple Music and other streaming services, including Tidal and Amazon Music. As of this writing, however, it remains absent from the trio’s Spotify catalog.

migos‘ Album 2017 Culture disappeared from streaming services.

Fans were quick to mourn the album’s apparent removal from Spotify, Apple Music and elsewhere, while speculating that the timing of the album’s streaming might offer some solace. After all, January 27 will mark the album’s fifth anniversary.

The critically and commercially successful album, of course, was buoyed by the widespread ubiquity of single “Bad and Boujee” with Lil Uzi Vert. “T-shirt” and the Gucci Mane-Assisted “Slippery” were also singles from the album, which kicked off a trilogy that ended last June. Cultivation II and Culture III, respectively, remained streamable at the time of this writing, with Migos celebrating the fourth anniversary of Cultivation II earlier today.

In December, with Cultivation III about six months in the rearview mirror, Migos teamed up with Jim Jones for “We Set the Trends.” More recently, Offset teased new music on social media, most notably via the lengthy clip shared on Instagram below.
