Skyway 10K participants will need to meet at Tropicana Park to catch buses to and from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
TAMPA, Fla – We are less than a week away from the fifth annual Skyway 10K.
The race, which benefits the Armed Forces Families Foundation, does not take place until Sunday, but on Saturday there will be a Skyway 10K race exhibition and a music festival to pick up packages.
From race procedures to race day schedules and information, here’s an explainer of what’s in store for Skyway 10K participants and drivers in the region.
Saturday March 5
Registered Skyway 10K participants will pick up their race day packages between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the Race Expo and Music Festival in Lot 7 in the Tropicana Field parking lot. It is important to remember that this is the only day packages will be available for pickup.
Best of all, Saturday’s Race Expo and Music Festival is free and open to the public, even if you’re not attending the 10K event.
Simply bring your photo ID and bib number to receive your race day packet and physical bib.
In the event that you are unable to pick up your package in person, attendees can download and complete the “Third Party Package Pickup Form” to have someone else pick it up for you instead.
The organizers have a strict policy against picking up packages on race day. If you have any questions, contact the Skyway 10K organizers.
Saturday’s musical lineup at the expo will include Love and Theft, The Fulcos, Guava Train and the Jam Jones Band.
