Who’s Who in Taylor Swifts Star Studded ‘Bejeweled’ Music Video

Taylor Swift recently released her music video for her single “Bejeweled” and the music video was anything but understated. The video featured a myriad of stars in Swift’s tale of Cinderella (Taylor’s version, of course). Below are the stars listed in order of appearance.

The Haim sisters

One can never forget the iconic songs that HAIM and Swift collaborated on. So seeing their acting skills put to the test in their iconic reprise of the roles of the evil stepsisters was truly a treat. Danielle, Este and Alana definitely played their part well.

Danielle Haim plays the half-sister who “wants the ring” of the elusive Prince Jack, Este Haim plays the half-sister who “wants the title” of Princess who, in order to obtain, needs a proposal from the Prince and Alana Haim simply “wants the d***” of said Prince Jack.

Laura Dern

Laura Dern put her acting skills to good use in her revival of Wrench Taylor’s Evil Stepmother. She was definitely a jump scare in the video, as you don’t often find Oscar winners in Swift’s videos, but she was a most welcome and exciting surprise. I think we can all agree that she put evil in the evil stepmother.

For some background, Dern is a well-accomplished actress. Her most recent notable roles are in the series “Big Little Lies” and the movie “Little Women.”

She also won the 2020 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Marriage Story.”

Legendary burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese was everything we didn’t know we needed in a Taylor Swift music video.

Von Teese plays Wrench Taylor’s fabulous, diamond-encrusted Fairy Godmother. She and Swift bathe in their fabulous martini glasses.

You also have to stop to admire the magnificent diamond-encrusted corsets of Von Teese and Swift. These two captured the literal essence of the song “Bejeweled.”

Dita Von Teese is known for her burlesque performances. She clearly put her skills to good use in this music video stopping show.

Pat McGrath

A most unexpected surprise was that of Pat McGrath. McGrath is an iconic British make-up artist and entrepreneur whose business is valued at a billion dollars.

McGrath plays the very enthusiastic Queen Pat, who is very enthralled by Wrench Taylor and her talent show performance. So much so that she “forces” Prince Jack to propose to Wrench Taylor.

Jack Antonoff

There’s so much to say about iconic singer/writer/producer Jack Antonoff.

He’s worked with Swift on every one of her projects since 2014’s record-breaking, Grammy-winning album ‘1989’.

He has also worked with stars such as Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Clairo and many more.

Her most recent project was on Swift’s “Midnights.” He is also credited as a writer and producer on “Bejeweled”.

That’s why it’s a perfect fit for Antonoff to play the phantom Prince Jack in this iconic music video.

Swift has a history of featuring famous celebrities in her music videos and “Bejeweled” is another successful example.
